This Sonic Life

This Sonic Life focuses on exploring various dimensions of our sound world, from creative, environmental, investigative and healing.

The current Artist Director at This Sonic Life is Dr Colin Black, who, as well as being an international award winning sound practitioner and published academic in the field, was an APRA, Art Music Awards finalist in the category of Award for Excellence by an Organisation for his work as a curator with Frequency Oz. Notably, Dr Black has negotiated partnerships with international organisations to present established and emerging artists on world platforms, including the Austrian national network ÖRF, New Adventures in Sound Art (Canada) and Resonance FM in the UK.
